Food & Beverage top tips

Start with a Champagne or Prosecco Drinks Reception

My number 1 tip to start your wedding off perfectly is to host a Champagne drinks reception! This sets the tone for the entire day and at a bigger gathering, guests may not necessarily be well-acquainted, so it’s a perfect chance for guests to mingle and catch up before the ceremony begins.

Cater for different cultures attending

It’s important to be mindful of the different cultures; where the food is from, how the food is cooked, plated and served. Presentation may differ depending on the type of event and setting.

Stay congruent with the Theme

If you have a wedding theme think about the vibe, the colours and the style and plan your menu around that.

Cocktail hour

During the room turn around or during the golden hour is a perfect opportunity for a cheeky cocktail hour and a slice of wedding cake!

Flexibility to your menu

Take advice from the professionals! If you have a specific menu in mind, be open to try their adaptations or recommendations to your menu.

Allergies & Intolerances

Some guests may not be able to eat certain foods. When sending out invitations, make sure that you have asked guests to note dietary needs on the RSVPs.

• Why it's good to go local

Eating local doesn’t just benefit your health and the farmers, producers and stockists in your community. It also has a host of positive economic, social, and environmental effects. Local foods taste fresher, have more nutrients, and use less packaging. Supporting local food businesses leads to strong local economies! We are all for that!

• Corporate catering - getting it right

If you work in administration, you may have been tasked with ordering food for your office at some point. The service of providing food for a company’s employees is referred to as corporate catering. We offer a lovely range of corporate catering including breakfast boxes, grazing tables and onsite BBQs perfect for small and large gatherings such as private office meetings, employee trainings, regional events and more.
