Wedding Planning can certainly be initially, overwhelming and a little daunting, but with our top tips, you’ll be able to make a great start on planning your dream day…
Firstly, pop open the Prosecco and sit down with your other half to discuss what would make a perfect wedding day for you both. Think about if you would like a Wedding at home or abroad and who will take on the special rolls such as made of honour and best man.
Next, set a realistic a budget for the entire wedding.
Decide on the season you would like to get married in, then look at any special and significant dates that mean something to you both. Remember: contact for family members before you get anything booked in to make sure they can attend!
Sign up to a free wedding directory website. We recommend: hitched, and Bridebook. These sites provide lots of inspiration and recommendations where you can see direct feedback from previous couples who have married using the suppliers.
Consider locations of where you would like to get married, and research the possibility of either a church wedding, registry office wedding, marriage at the venue, or a Celebrant led Wedding.
Start planning the guest-list. Consider whether you would like to invite children or not, and if you would invite extra guests to come along in the evening to dance the night away.
Research and view potential wedding venues.
Once you have booked your special venue, start researching and booking your Wedding, Catering and Photographer, as initial priorities.
